Purchase Ledger Clerk Shrewsbury Permanent Salary - Competitive Hours – 37.5 hours per week A well-recognised business near Shrewsbury is recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a permanent basis. This position is working as part of a team of 3 Purchase Ledger Clerks, part of the overall Finance Department. As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for: Processing invoices Supplier payments Dealing with internal and external queries Processing staff expenses Reconciling statements Preparing two BACS payment runs every month Assisting with month end financial reporting Post nominal cash journals You should be proficient with MS Excel and should have previous purchase ledger experience. Maths GCSE, or equivalent, at grades A-C is essential, AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential. If you feel you have good numerical and IT skills, you are organised, a logical thinker and have a methodical approach with great attention to detail, don’t hesitate to apply.
