Our client is a publicly listed market leader who require a Finance Business Partner for their recently launched International Division. The purpose of the role will be to provide strategic and financial support for the Regional Business Managers in the form of sales analysis, ad hoc reporting and the design of the five year strategic plan. This role will be part of a rapidly growing division and so will provide you with excellent opportunities for progression, and so would suit somebody ambitious who doesn't want to 'stand still' within their role.

Reporting into the Finance Director you will be assisting with reporting and monitoring divisional monthly finance submissions. This will include providing assistance on ad hoc projects within the International team, such as creation of KPI dashboards, regulatory prioritisation matrices or acquisition modelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive finance support for the Regional Business Managers by assisting with reports and preparation for customer visits, developing the five year strategic plan by region, and identifying key areas for process improvement.
  • Support divisional finance managers in submission of their local monthly trial balances and additional information in accordance with the Group timetables.
  • Produce consolidated monthly sales analysis for the International division.
  • Liaise with shared service centres to obtain data for consolidated fortnightly debtors reporting
  • Provide ad hoc reports for Business Managers to help them prepare for customer visits or new customer quotations.
  • Assist with compilation of annual budget and reforecasts.
  • Liaise with Group finance on ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Support the Finance Director in strategic planning and analysis.
  • Help maintain key divisional systems such as CRM and regulatory registration database.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Pro-active and flexible approach to work
  • Be a self-starter with resilience
  • Fully CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant, or be a Finalist who is still pursuing your full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification - QBE/PQ will not be considered!
  • Experience of large IT packages e.g. SAP, Hyperion HFM, Cognos, Oracle etc
