Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experience and qualified Paraplanner to work in a busy and thriving environment.

  • Supportingthe Financial Planners in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives
  • Developingand maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
  • Managingthe research and analysis of financial products to meet client requirements
  • Managingthe presentation of technical data to the Financial Planners and Operations Manager
  • Managingthe preparation of Suitability Reports and Client Financial Plans
  • Anychanges to the FCA rules

The technical aspects of preparing for Client meetings, including:

  • Preparingand compiling financial analysis data
  • Analysingclient data and preparing cash flow analyses
  • Researchingproducts to support recommendations
  • Compilingfinancial planning recommendations and suitability reports
  • Providingsupport for the Financial Planners
  • Ensuringthat all regulatory and compliance standards are met
  • Liaisingwith product providers and other relevant third parties
  • Ensuringthat all client requirements are followed through to the appropriate conclusion
  • Providingsupport for the Financial Planners allowing the Financial Planners to focus on
  • Clientrelationships and meeting business targets
  • Assistingthe Financial Planners with client presentations and any other activities as Previous experience in a paraplanning role
  • Experience of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of investments, pensions, trusts, taxation and protection
  • Ideally, experience of using fund analysis tools
  • Complianceliaison with external parties where appropriate
  • Maintainand update all Compliance MI
  • Implementand manage Compliance training programme
  • Designatedcompliance activities
  • Liaisewith providers for updates and
  • Individualworkflow and task delivery
  • Therole holder may be required to travel for client visits -this may involve working outside office hours

Candidate Requirements:

  • Diploma in Financial Planning or close to completion
  • Previous experience in a paraplanning role
  • Experience of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of investments, pensions, trusts, taxation and protection
  • Ideally, experience of using fund analysis tools

Hours: 35 hours a week (9am - 5pm)
