Hays are currently working alongside a leading UK retailer in order to assist them in the recruitment of an interim Project Accountant. The role is to work alongside the Head of FSS in the delivery of a new Finance Shared Service Centre design.
You will additionally work with the FSS Business Lead and Continuous Improvement Manager to ensure all new processes (as set out by KPMG) are transferred successfully. This will include process improvements, system changes, centralising disbursements, standardising approval limits, creating a refund process and balance sheet reconciliations.
In order to be considered for this position, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) and have experience working as either a Finance Manager or Finance Controller in a Finance Shared Service Centre environment. You will have had previous exposure to the successful delivery of process improvements, working alongside senior stakeholders and adhering to continuous improvement methodology.
