CCS | Compass Corporate Services are working with a National Care provider in looking for a Contracts and Commissioning Manager. This position in based in Worcester but will require national travel so you must be flexible and have a full valid driving licence.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities of improvement within current NHS, CCG and Local Authority contractual agreements held by the organisation, assessing existing contracts and putting an effective strategy in place. You will lead the contracts team to promote contractual compliance and negotiate with third parties on key terms.
The ideal candidate will be a natural sales professional who is able to negotiate effectively and who will be innovative and creative in their approach. You must be able to communicate with local authorities, NHS bodies and maintain these relationships well.
You need to be a commercial minded, dynamic individual who has proven people management experience as well as the ability to coach and develop a team.
Previous experience of managing contracts is essential, candidates who have had experience within the residential care sector will be preferred.
