The Internal Sales Engineer will be a key member of the sales team who will build close relationships with customers and team alike.
Job Description - Internal Sales Engineer
* Managing and interpret both new customer requirements to understand need.
* Offer customers a product or service that best satisfies their need
* Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education
* Prepare sales quotations, prepare tenders, proposals, designs and technical drawings to meet customers deadlines
* The Internal Sales Engineer will follow up on quotations
* Receive and log customer sales enquiries onto the system.
* Raise timely purchase orders with suppliers for goods.
* Be pro-active in progressing customer orders to completion
* The Internal Sales Engineer will be pro-active in notifying customers when there is a potential problem with a sales order.
The Successful Internal Sales Engineer
* Technical knowledge (Ideally toolmaking background)
* Ability to read/interpret technical drawings.
* Communication skills, problem solving skills, team working skills, passionate about service delivery, conscientious and willingness to learn new skills.
* Commercial awareness
* Customer Service Skills
* Must have own transport
* Free onsite on parking
* Pension.
