Our client is an award-winning mortgage brokerage, operating for over 20 years from their offices in Staffordshire. As one of the country's leading brokers, they're looking to bring in some additional telesales advisors.
As a telesales advisor, you'll be making the first contact with potential customers. This won't be cold calling though, as all customers will have made an enquiry before contact. Through this initial contact, you'll be creating the foundations for your customer's mortgage application. Communication is key, so you'll need to be confident with providing accurate information over the telephone in a professional and friendly manner. The aim of the game is to ensure your customer can attain the funding required for their dream home. Your job is to make the initial contact, discuss their options, make sure they're happy, and get them booked in with one of your qualified mortgage advisors.
Ideally, you'll be coming into this role with some experience of the mortgage industry. A telephony role within the mortgage industry would be the perfect background. You're probably a people person, enjoying nothing more than making others happy. And it goes without saying that you don't mind a bit of hard work but don't worry, there are rewards! This role is a 10:30 - 6:30 position as standard Monday to Friday. You will be required to work some weekends. 2 times a month to be precise. Weekend hours are 10:00 - 5:30 and you will have 2 weekdays off instead. Basic salary is 19,000 - 20,000 with the chance to earn commission and bonuses.
