Credit Controller | Permanent Job | £22000 per annum + 20 days’ holiday | 8:30am – 5pm (Monday to Friday)

A growing business in Shrewsbury are looking for a capable credit controller to take ownership for between 100 – 150 accounts in a permanent job role.

The Company

A growing business in the Shropshire area is looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join their dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Company Accountant this is a great ‘start to finish’ role, offering lots of variety.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with customer services and other internal teams. This role will involve varied duties including taking ownership of the credit control process, banking, raising credit notes, raising invoices, setting up customer accounts, attending and presenting at meetings and distributing statements as required.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced business, where delivering first-class service to customers and suppliers is key, therefore excellent communication skills are a must. You should be organized, methodical and able to work to deadlines. You should have good IT skills and ideally have experience of working with a ERP system (although not essential).

Personal Profile

You will be a capable credit controller who is able to demonstrate a proven track record of reducing debt and maintaining your ledger.
