This retailer focuses on delivering great value products to its customers. If you are currently working in a retail management role and want to drive sales through service and stock control then we want to hear from you. We are looking for managers who are confident, proud and passionate about raising customer brand awareness.

The ideal candidate will enjoy:

  • Work in partnership with the Area Managers to support the delivery of business objectives
  • Provide coaching, development and support to Managers
  • Ensure all ER activity is carried out in line with relevant legislation & Company guidelines
  • Provide professional and commercial advice to managers on a range of issues in line with current legislation and company guidelines
  • Champion culture and engagement throughout all areas of the business
  • Ensure the performance management process is carried out consistently in stores and evaluate the effectiveness of the process
  • Advise managers on procedures for both short term and long term sickness, and support health review meetings where required
  • Support the content and implementation of effective development plans for Managers
  • Implement the Management induction process and ensure follow up reviews are conducted
  • Maintain the training database for store Colleagues as training is delivered
  • Support the new store recruitment process and the new store induction programme place

Your experience required:

  • Either single site or Multi-site experience in HR
  • Retail or H&L background
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels
  • Work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • High commercial awareness
  • Drive, energy and persistence
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and employee relations
