Contracts Manager

Construction & Fit Out Solutions have a vacancy for an experienced full time/freelance SMSTS & First Aid Trained Contracts Manager to be part of their expanding Birmingham office.

Undertaking projects across the UK with a turnover in excess of £10million, working on both New Build & Fit out projects covering, the commercial, education and retail sectors, with project values ranging from £50k to £5m.

The successful candidate would be expected to oversee 3 - 4 projects at any one time, covering new build, cut & carve and Fit out projects and be competent in the following;

• Managing program expectations from planning stage to completion including the production of project programmes • Procurement – material and sub contract order placing • Ensure compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations and good building practice • Possess estimating, planning and cost control management skills • Take charge of managing build quality and customer expectations ensuring all works comply with building regulations and other relevant standards • Client liaison providing monthly reports on projects including program, H&S, quality and budget • Ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are met including the production of health and safety plans, RAMS etc • Manage and mentor site team and sub-contractors • Provide clear leadership and direction to the site team and subcontractors • Co-ordinate the design team members to ensure best value, buildable solutions • Possess a strong sense of ownership and responsibility • Be methodical and have an eye for detail • Strong managerial and people skills who works well individually and as part of a team.

Salary negotiable subject to experience
