Salary: DOE, Excellent rate of pay once competent

Hours: Full time
Our client is a leading UK manufacturer and designer of ultrasonic probes and accessories. They supply Non-Destructive Test (NDT) equipment and consumables and provide a repair and calibration service covering most types of NDT equipment.
Established over 30 years ago, our client has a worldwide customer base from a wide range of industries - including Power Generation, Gas, Oil, Mining, Nuclear, Military, Railway, Metals, Insurance, Validation, Aerospace and General Industry.
Due to continued order growth we now have vacancies for Probe Assembly Technician. This is an amazing and interesting career manufacturing Ultrasonic Probes and accessories. The work is very intricate and is carried out in a modern, pleasant working environment and provides excellent growth opportunities for the right candidate.
The work involves assembling, bonding and soldering electronic and other components that come together to make a finished probe and other components such as:
- PCB Boards
- Internal Wedges
- Mixing glues
- Preparing crystals
The Ideal Candidate:
- Be quick to learn and keen to progress
- Have good manual dexterity
- Be able to produce fine solder joints (electronic work)
- Be able to glue / bond very small components together
- Work to high standards as attention to detail is crucial
- Follow instruction both written and verbal
- Computer literate
- Work within a team or as an individual
