Our lead client seeks an immediate appointment of an experienced Account Manager to run an onsite based in Redditch. You will ultimately be responsible for a team of three coordinators covering a 24/7 operation. The temp workforce will run between 220 to 280 at peak and there are various shift patterns to adhere to. You will also be actively involved, leading by example, to fulfil the client's demand (sometimes at short notice).

Your role will be to attend regular client meetings to understand the temp workforce demand, deal with any issues and to ensure a smooth operation is achieved week on week. Rest assured, your full understanding of all processes, legislation and HR knowledge will be fully utilised in this role.

You and your team may arrange and attending recruitment campaigns to attract your candidate pool and you will speak to and built relationships with third party agencies such as Job Centres and Back to Work agencies. This is a demanding, fast paced role which offers no two days the same. The ability to manage your own time, availability and diary together with first class communication and organisation skills will aid your success.

Whilst you will ordinarily work 8am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri some flexibility may be required around the shift patterns if any issues or cover is required.

Salary package on offer is up to GBP28k plus bonus and 31 days holiday inc all bank holidays. Whilst there is no oncall requirement for the Account Manager to cover, you will be expected to be contactable and available to deal with any urgent issues which need immediate attention.

You will need to demonstrate strong management skills with attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Gaining the respect of your team and working together in a positive, supportive and proactive manner is paramount. You will also need to be focussed on your numbers, procedures and costs and be confident to find credible and mutual beneficial solutions to issue and challenges you will face.
