Empowering Learning are seeking to employ a highly driven support worker with experience of working with vulnerable young adults and is keen to make a difference with challenging pupils. You will actively take on a supporting role to enable pupils to develop holistically. You will facilitate their personal, social and educational development to enable them to reach their full potential in society.
This role would be perfect for someone with similar experience wanting to make a difference to the lives of young people. Someone who has a real passion for working with challenging students.
Ideally, we are looking for a support worker who has the flexibility to work shift patterns in the week. The shifts would consist of 8am - 4pm, 4pm - 10pm, and possibly nights.
Key Job Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable young adults in a specialist provision such as a school or care setting;
- A genuine passion for working with pupils with additional learning needs such as ;
- Highly driven;
- Attentive and Empathic Listener;
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour; (Team teach qualification would be advantageous.)
- Available 5 days per week;
- Hold a DBS on the update service. (We can support you with a new DBS application if needed.)
