We are a registered care and support charity that offers services to just over 6000 people within the Midlands. These services include supporting people within registered care, domiciliary care, people with learning difficulties, those with mental health issues, young people at risk, older people, BME groups, people at risk of being homeless and those fleeing domestic abuse. Trident has over 50 years of delivering homes, services and innovation in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands. It employs more than 800 staff, works with over 150 volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships for many more.
About the roles
Due to continued growth we are looking for a number of positions across our services based across Shropshire in Shrewsbury, Market Drayton and Oswestry.
We are looking for a number of support workers with experience in Mental Health, covering both a variety of both full time and part time hours.
• Provide support to guests and to ensure the smooth running of the service under the guidance of the senior worker/manager • Reliable and punctual • Prepare and cook simple but nutritious meals • Able to work flexibly within a 24hr Rota system, which will include weekend working and sleep in shifts • A high level of professional integrity • Committed to maintaining our high standards of care • Good communication skills both verbally and non-verbally • A working knowledge of Mental Health legislation.
Salary Our mental health support worker salary is £16,600 per annum
