About the role

A fantastic opportunity to join the Record to Report team as a Record to Report Accountant. You will maintain a robust control environment through the completion and review of the Society's balance sheet and bank reconciliations, ensuring activities support the Finance Shared Services vision and overall financial governance of the Society.

You'll create accurate management information for all areas of the Society in the development and provision of a world class standard transactional operation, communicating risks and opportunities relating to balance sheet accounts.

About you

You will be a fully qualified accountant able to provide technical accounting advice to colleagues both within and outside of finance, fully competent in profit and loss accounts with balance sheets and bank reconciliation experience. You should have the ability to dive into the detail when required, along with the ability to take a step back to review and analyse results of the management accounts, whilst using complex systems.

You'll be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge information and processes effectively. With a desire for continuous improvement you'll be able to demonstrate where you've improved processes, using your own initiative in a resilient manner to achieve challenging deadlines.

Good Excel skills (intermediate level) coupled with experience in manipulating large quantities ofdata is also needed in this role.
