HR Systems Analyst sought by our client a large group (PLC), a FTSE 250 Company with over 5,000 employees.

THE ROLE

Are you ready for a fresh challenge in a fast paced working environment?

This key role within the shared HR Services team, will assist the Group HR Systems Manager in the day-to-day maintenance and development of the group wide integrated HR/Payroll systems. To coordinate and provide an efficient, accurate and insightful HR systems, process & administrative support to all areas of our clients business.

You will :

Contribute in the implementation of new modules across all Group businesses.
Participate in the testing and implementation of upgrades/enhancements.
Participate in various projects with responsibility for developing and maintaining the HR/Payroll system data structures/workflows/security/access etc. ensuring they meet HR & business requirements.
Work on ad hoc projects as directed by the Group HR Systems Manager.
Support the improvement of HR procedures and processes to ensure that the best service delivery is given by HR to the business. Review, maintenance and improvement of HR processes, procedures and system needs.
Ensure the required processes & procedures meet company policy and/or legal requirements.
Ensure appropriate authorisation levels are received for all employment related processes & procedures.
Provide support for troubleshooting issues, resolving all queries and quickly escalating any technical issues to our provider that need further investigation.
Responsible for system administration tasks, including data uploads, data cleansing and workflow design and administrative support to the HR function.
Maintenance of training and guidance materials and deliver training to system end users throughout the business.
Contribute to delivery of BAU change in line with system specialism, acting as a subject matter expert.
Drive continuous improvement across own team and the wider functions.
You will be working from the Wythall, West Midlands office

THE PERSON

The successful HR Systems Analyst will ideally have similar experience
It would be highly advantageous if you have experience of using CoreHR.
You must be PC Literate; Office.
Previous data analyst experience, or project work.
Graduate calibre.
Experience of supporting critical business systems / users.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Ability to juggle competing demands and request for support.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals.
Well organised with the ability to plan workload to achieve deadlines.
Proactive nature, & forward thinking, positive disposition & flexible.
Team player.
Ideally have experience of;
Enterprise Database Environments (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
Database Scripting (T-SQL, Oracle PL/SQL).
Relational Data Architecture Design.
Excel 2007+ (Advanced Formulae, Pivot Tables, VBA).
Also desirable to have
Knowledge of HR Systems.
Experience working on the maintenance and development of a HR system, with exposure to supporting end users and acting as a HRIS Super User.
Experience with working on system configuration.
And live within a commutable distance to Wythall, West Midlands.
