We are recruiting a FM Technical Supervisor to join the team located in Stafford. The successful candidate will be point of contact responsible for all Facilities maintenance technical service delivery on behalf of CBRE.

Role Summary:

Ensure site technical services are delivered in compliance with legislative, client and CBRE health, safety and environmental programmes

Act as the technical Services point of contact for all in / out of scope technical activities

Provide technical support across a wide spectrum of industrial technical services, to the CBRE team and client

Line management of local resources to deliver technical services utilising the CBRE employed resources (self-perform) and a specialist subcontractor

Be the driver in maximising the volume of work that is self-performed

Manage specialist subcontractors where required, ensuring work is carried out in compliance with legislative, client and CBRE health, safety and environmental programmes

Be the Maintenance Excellence Champion for the site, driving continuous improvement in technical service delivery

In conjunction with the CBRE Site Manager, deliver to allocated budgets and in line with the contract model

Provide input and solutions for Additional Works & small project works

Carry out maintenance and repair activities when required

Manage the technical service delivery on site

Create a weekly schedule plan for the Customer requirements, including Planned Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Service Requests Work Orders (consult with Leads, Team Leaders, Originator, Production Supervisors as necessary) and determine the best way to accomplish the work

Obtain and organise information required for the crafts to perform the work inlcuding job plans, drawings, vendor manual, supplemental instructional materials, special procedures, and other file material which is appropriate

Approach all aspect of the work with safety as the highest priority

Determine and identify labour and skills required to perform the work or if external support

Actively monitor the Client GenSuite system ensuring any Compliance calendar tasks and Action Tracking System tasks are managed effectively

Finalise the Maintenance resource schedule based on agreed plan with the customer

Experience Required:

Good IT skills

Good working knowledge of EHS requirements

Excellent analytical Skills

Good organisational planning skills

Demonstrated ability to visualise and communicate the execution of work

Ability to manage multiple priorities / activities simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion

Engineering background and competency to accurately estimate labour hours, material requirement and trade / skills needed to complete a job.

Familiar with operating modern building services such as Greywater harvesting system, Solar PV and modern BMS and control systems

Good written and verbal communications skills

Demonstrated the ability to be approachable and tactful

Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions

Demonstrated ability to read standard technical drawings

Able to sketch or redline existing drawings

Knowledge of /understands the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling and storeroom processes

Capable of providing familiarisation training

Able to lead by example by carrying out practical maintenance and installation tasks to a high standard
