Marketing Manager (Faculty of Arts and Humanities)
Coventry University is like no other and now we're looking for people to help us tell our story.
People are taking notice of Coventry University, so there's never been a better time to join. We have been consistently ranked highly in the Guardian University Guide in recent years, and we're extremely proud of our current 13th position, putting us ahead of over 100 other institutions, including 16 of the 24, often referred to as 'elite', Russell Group of Universities.
We're not stopping there however - and this is where you come in. We're looking for a Marketing Manager for our Arts and Humanities Faculty to bring our strengths in each subject specialism to the fore.
You would be managing a small team of specialists across media, events and digital, leading on articulating and communicating our strengths across a specific set of core subject areas, mainly for student recruitment, but also incorporating research, enterprise and innovation. Occasionally we'll want you to also go beyond your subject area and lead on specific university-wide projects which benefit broader marketing objectives.
While we are looking for individuals with a broad range of marketing skills, we are also looking for intelligent people who are keen to learn new things and who can inspire and coordinate others to make a positive impact in the market place. You don't necessarily need to have worked in HE, but you do need a passion for it. You will need strong communication skills too, as you'll be dealing with marketers and academics who are crucial to telling our story.
Your day-to-day activity will sometimes be hectic, but you will be surrounded by individuals who are enthusiastic and proactive. We also offer a great range of benefits (including a generous holiday allowance) to make Coventry University a great place to work.
If you feel you could rise to the challenge of helping us to build upon our previous success, please complete an application form. We'd love to hear from you!
