Role & Responsibility:
Reporting to Value Stream leadership, Production Control is responsible for delivering our customer requirements in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS)

Principle Accountabilities
· Work with supply chain to ensure material availability to agreed schedules.
· Work with supply chain team to effectively management of the escalation process for both internal and external supply.
· Manage Lines of Balance for each Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)
· Develop production and kitting plans
· Validate schedule to capacity
· Manage work order release in line with MPS requirement
· Drive the aged works order actions to conclusion
· Manage escalation process when a sustained deviation from plan occurs
· Management of SAP inventory transactions in line with agreed processes.
· Working with operators, production schedules, materials and equipment to ensure on time in full delivery to all Customers
· Communication of all customer delivery commitments to Operations Program Management
· Accountable for WIP transactions to achieve ZERO aged WIP targets (>2 weeks)
· Accountable for delivering process maturity using ACE operating system. Target gold status

Responsibilities
· LoB Shortage escalation management to Senior Leadership Team
· OTIF of all site programs
· MPS adherence: OE, NPI and Spares
· SIOP approval
· Approve schedule to capacity
· Identify capacity gaps - CAPEX approval to close
· Inventory control ( forecast)
· Manage excess and obsolete with PM’s & GM’s
· Inventory plan delivery
· Approve master data changes
· Planned part changes

Typical Educational Requirements:
· Experience within a planning role
· Programme Manager / Operations manager experienced
· Product knowledge
· Customer facing experience
· Senior Leadership Team exposure/presence
