We are very excited to have been awarded new opportunities to support people with learning disabilities in Shropshire, we will be supporting people to move from their current location back to Shropshire. Their new location will be dependent upon where they have chosen to settle.
They will each move into their own individual property, they may have wake night support or sleep in support, they will always have 1:1 support and their needs will determine their support.
The people moving into their new accommodation will be supported to be as independent as possible, get out into their community, take part in activities and hobbies, which interest them and develop a new life to achieve their outcomes.
The people we support will need kind, understanding staff who can understand that communication is very challenging for some people and some people need that extra help to find the right ways to communicate more effectively and get the outcomes they need.
