Architectural Technical Coordination within the regional Technical team of a 5* housebuilder focusing across Design & Planning and Architectural Technology, ensure information produced is accurate and received within desired time frames.

The role is an out and out coordination role and will be heavily focus on coordinating Architectural information between internal and external consultants throughout the preconstruction phase, and ensuring the quality of build on when on site, answering queries and resolving any issues as they occur.
Most of the drawing work is produced by Architectural Technicians. You may be required to tweak drawings if minor and produce constraint plans for site layouts and as such a reasonable ability to use AutoCAD is required.
You will ideally have a few years' experience working within the residential sector, either directly for a house builder or with a practice specialising in residential design. You will have a broad knowledge of preconstruction processes in order to move a development forward from sketch feasibility through to start on site. Key areas of knowledge include:
NHBCs and Building Regulations
- Planning conditions and working with local authorities to successfully gain planning permission
- Understanding of engineering processes would be useful
- AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook).
