Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a temporary opportunity working for a well established business based in Wednesbury with a view to start immediately. You will be working as part of a small friendly finance team where you will be responsible for the day to day running of the purchase ledger function where you will be responsible for processing invoices, your duties will include matching batching and coding invoices, processing invoices, processing payments by BACs and cheque, reconciling supplier statements and resolving supplier queries.

Our client is ideally looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who has worked in a high volume role who can hit the ground running.

In this role you will take on the following:

- Processing invoices
- Closing Ledgers
- Payment runs
- Reconciliations
- Accounts Admin

For this role it is essential that you have good IT and Excel skills with experience using purchase order systems. You will need to work to a high volume and have good attention to detail.
