Macildowie HR is excited to be working in partnership with a globally reaching organisation for a HR Advisor to be based out of their Coventry site with some regional travel. Joining a fast paced and commercially driven HR team you will be a main point of contact for all HR related queries. This is a full time role, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract paying between GBP24,000 and GBP26,000 per annum.


The Role


Reporting in to the Regional HR consultant the main remit of your role will be to support and advise management across the full spectrum of employee relations and training in line with employment law and industry governance, using your high quality employee relations knowledge in a coaching manner to really upskill those you are working with.
You will also provide guidance to the management team to ensure they comply fully with all HR related compliance, accreditation and legal standards during day to day operations whilst assisting with delivery of employee engagement surveys and workshops and providing HR solutions and assist with HR projects.

There will be active recruitment and support to the line management with interviews, looking at the full 360 recruitment cycle, from creation of job descriptions and adverts, to the screening of CV's and interviewing, and involvement in the full offer and onboarding process. Your ability to create a professional recruitment experience will be absolutely vital to hiring the very best staff for the organisation.

Along side all of the above you will manage the monthly Payroll process pulling reports from Timegate (time and attendance system) and line management reports to gather overtime and travel costs and forward to payroll for payment monthly and maintain and monitor SIA Licenses for the business ensuring all staff have a valid SIA license.

There will also be involvement in ad-hoc projects including areas such a TUPE transfers and employee engagement surveys.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be credible and professional so as to create strong relationships with line managers and provide the best possible advice service to your stakeholders. This means an up to date working knowledge of employment law legislation is a must.

You will also need to be able to work both independently and be a self starter as there will often be times when you need to work proactively without the direct support of line managers, which also means the ability to organise and prioritise work load is a key asset of the successful candidate.

CIPD qualification would be an advantage but is not an absolute must.
