- Contract Type
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a small (but growing) award winning group and play a pivotal role in developing their 60 bed nursing home, whilst benefitting from an extremely supportive home and management structure. The group have grown rapidly in the last 12 months and are committed to future expansion so offer real scope for fantastic career progression, supporting both professional & personal development.
The home is a purpose-built 3 storey Nursing Home and specialises in caring for the older person with dementia and palliative care. It offers an abundance of lovely features which include, brightly coloured "front doors" for each of the bedrooms and the environment is stimulating to the senses visually and to the touch. Outside the home boasts a lovely landscaped garden.
The key challenge with this home is that it has recently been rated as Requires Improvement at the latest CQC inspection and whilst the company's own compliance team have been working hard to rectify the issues and ongoing improvements are well underway, the role would still suit someone who has experience of running a Good-rated home or improving the rating of a service and thrives on that type of challenge.
The family-run group prides itself on delivering high quality and ethically sound, individualised care for older people in a homely environment with the support of well trained and highly motivated staff. They like their managers to take ownership of their homes but at the same time, support them extremely well and provide a fantastic foundation for managers who like to run high quality services. You will be well supported, well rewarded for your efforts and can expect genuine career development and progression opportunities to open up for you with this forward-thinking, growing company.
We're looking for an RGN or RMN Manager with nursing home management experience and good CQC compliance skills.
A basic salary in the region of GBP55k - GBP60K is on offer, dependent on experience.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
