Part of an international manufacturing group, this organisation is looking to recruit an experience process engineer to assist in the production of high volume but very high precision components for the medical industry. As a process/lean engineer your role will be to develop manufacturing process to improve efficiency of both existing and new manufacturing processes.

Manufacturing/ Lean Engineer
Location: Warwickshire, commutable from Stratford upon Avon, Evesham, Redditch, Leamington spa
Salary: £35,000 per annum

Main duties and responsibilities, will include but are not limited too;
O Validation practitioner for the manufacturing plant on both new and existing processes
O Full documented trials / validations in accordance with internal business procedures
O keep abreast of technical developments in process engineering
O Identify the activities required to improve the manufacturing processes
O Creation of project plans
O Selection of equipment suppliers
O specification of equipment and service requirements
O NPI projects
O Writing of validation protocols, validation reports etc

Knowledge and experience required:
O knowledge of the various medical industry requirements. For example; FDA, ISO13845
O Extensive knowledge of lean tools and techniques
O Ability to travel (Europe, USA, Asia) will be required on occasion
O Ability to work in a clean room manufacturing environment
O A recognised engineering qualification - ideally ONC/HND or equivalent level
O Six Sigma black belt would be highly advantageous
