We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join a successful, dynamic, forward thinking team. You will have experience of category buying, and will have attained a minimum of a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree. You will source, negotiate, and then present your business findings to key internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery of innovative solutions to existing inefficiencies. The client is a leading UK retailer, with a chain of nationwide stores. Your focus will be GNFR (Goods Not For Retail) orientated, and you will deliver a Procurement strategy, including unique category plans. We want you to deliver value by optimising efficiency with new ideas!
A successful Procurement Manager will have the following:
- MUST have achieved a 2:1 in an undergraduate degree (minimum).
- Experience in GNFR Procurement
- Proven record of delivering savings
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with an ability to build lasting relationships
- A results driven mind-set
- The ability to interpret and handle data
- A strategic approach
- Strong business/commercial acumen
- Good presentation skills
ROLE: Procurement Manager (GNFR/Goods Not For Resale)
SALARY: GBP51,000 (dependent on experience)
BENEFITS: 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme (rises with length of service), death in service, long service reward, paternity, maternity and adoption pay, bike to work scheme and sick pay, incremental salary.
