Cannock Chase High School is a vibrant and ambitious learning community.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to enhance our core business services team, to work in partnership with staff across the academy to provide the best learning experience for our students.  This is a key role within the business services team to support the smooth running of the whole school community. The role incorporates support for financial administration, budget planning, HR administration, resource planning, site administration and health and safety and support for the wider school community team.

Working closely with the Executive Business Manager and team members, this diverse role requires excellent communication, inter-personal and co-ordination skills and a solutions focused approach.  The successful candidate will have a sound financial administration background, excellent customer service experience and will have the opportunity to contribute towards the development and implementation of improved finance and resource management services within the academy.

You will provide support to staff across the academy to enable them to manage their budgets effectively and provide the best learning environment possible for study.

You will have experience of working in a financial environment, be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, use computer based financial software systems and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel. You will be able to prioritise your workload within tight timescales and work flexibly to support the needs of the school, working to support colleagues across the team to ensure that deadlines are met. Excellent written and oral communication, problem solving and analytical skills are also essential.

Cannock Chase High School is an 11-19 state funded comprehensive school with Academy Status and over 880 students on roll.  We have been judged as ‘good’ by Ofsted in our latest inspection earlier this year. Our school is a vibrant and ambitious learning community with a relentless focus on the highest standards of academic achievement, personal development and equality of opportunity.  In everything we do, we are dedicated to reaching our school goal: ‘Achievement for All’. We are the only school in the Cannock and Rugeley area to achieve a positive Progress 8 score for two consecutive years.
