Personal Assistant / Administrator 

Towler Shaw Roberts is seeking to recruit a skilled PA/Administrator to work in the busy Agency Department, based in our Shrewsbury Office.   

Working for the Partner and Head of Agency this post is a key role within TSR.   The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills, relevant IT skills and good knowledge of MS systems.  Experience of working in property would be an advantage but a willingness to learn new skills is essential.

Key accountabilities:

  • To support the Agency Department in the management of the administrative workload, ensuring priorities are met.
  • To work on the in-house Agency Pilot property system for all Agency based jobs (training will be given)
  • Maintaining the company website and additional on-line portals (training will be given)
  • Organisation of Partner’s diary
  • Production of Client portfolio reports
  • Organising and producing TSR press/newspaper advertisements
  • Organise and assist with the running of events and promotions
  • To support fee earners in the maintenance of files by effective file management.
  • To assist fee earners in dealing with file related queries either face to face or by telephone.
  • To ensure internal and external clients are dealt with efficiently
  • To answer all external and internal telephone calls efficiently and politely and take messages, as necessary.
  • To ensure that all compliance matters, internal methods, systems, policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Billing and other related financial administration
  • General administrative tasks including dealing with the post, photocopying, paper and electronic filing, opening/closing files, printing etc.
  • To manage own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision.
  • Any other duties as required from time to time.

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications

The post is full time and permanent and is offered on a 3 month probationary period.  Hours of work 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Annual Leave 23 days plus Bank Holidays (3 days of leave to be taken during the Christmas period).
