Our client is a leading specialist organisation based in Stafford who have an opportunity for a temporary Accounts Manager to join an existing team on a temporary basis for 2 months initially, with the possibility of extension. The role will be to provide support and advice to the business unit by recording, updating and analysing financial information.

Job Description:

As the Accounts Manager, you can expect to have the following responsibilities:

* Advise on the transferral and improvement of the sales / purchase ledger
* Investigate any unknown processes, liaising with other departments when required
* Assist to install an effective financial reporting process and conduct analysis where necessary
* Process and review reports to ensure that invoices and credits are released as efficiently as possible
Credit control and interact with customers
* Other ad-hoc projects as required

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous experience in accounting and / or financial management
* Strong knowledge of Sage 50
* Outstanding Excel skills
* Exceedingly strong accounts understanding

Salary: Negotiable

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm
