JOB DETAILS

Pipe Fitter Testers

Working on testing of pipe work systems.
Fitting spades, blanks, test nozzles etc.
Setting up for Water Tests, checking areas are barrierd off,
checking test guage etc.
Once Test has been checked by Inspector/Supervisor then draining down the pipe systyem and removing all test equipment, spaddes, blanks etc.

Then reinstating pipe spols, valves, supports etc.

Pipe Fitter Fabricators

Working on industrial pipe work systems.
Fabrication & installation of 2 to 4 inch & 6 to 12 inch pipe work mainly.
Setting up for Welder, who will be welding to coded specs, on dairy & thin wall, process and heavy wall pipe work.
Also working on screwed & fabricated pipe work systems, as required.
Plus fitting valves and pumps etc.
Also working on vessels, tanks etc.

Pipe Fitters - Semi-Skilled & Mates

Assiting Pipe Fitters & Welders, with their work.
Helping measure & mark out.
Cutting & drilling work.
Moving materials, plant, equipment.
Keeping work areas clean & tidy.

Fire Watchers - Mates

Preparing work areas, with Fire Screens & Blankets.
Keeping watch whilst grinding, burning, welding is completed.
Assiting Pipe Fitters & Welders, with their work.
Moving materials, plant, equipment.
Keeping work areas clean & tidy.

Pipe Fitter - TIG Welder

Working on industrial pipe work systems.
Fabrication & installation of 1 to ???? 2 inch & 3 to 12 inch pipe work mainly.
Welding using TIG mainly to coded specs, on dairy & thin wall pipe work.
Both screwed & fabricated systems.
Plus fitting valves and pumps etc.
Also working on vessels, tanks etc.

Pipe Fitter - MMA & TIG Welder

Working on industrial pipe work systems.
Fabrication & installation 6 to 12 inch & 1 - 4 inch pipe work mainly.
Welding using MMA & TIG mainly to coded specs, on dairy & thin wall pipe work.
Plus as required working on both screwed & fabricated systems.
Plus fitting valves and pumps etc.
Also working on vessels, tanks etc.

Hours of Work = 0700 to???? 1700 Mon to???? Fri plus weekends if required

Skilled Trades Pay = GBP18 + per hr Mon - Fri, then GBP23 + Sat and GBP28 + Sun

Term of Work = Temp Contract 13 - 26 weeks + pos Perm roles

Quals = C&G or NVQ 3 Pipe Fitting or Mechanical Fitting, or Welding etc

Safety Cards/Certs = CSCS Card, or ECITB Safety Passport
Ideally IPAF Mobile Platform Card. Ideally Skilled with Operating Mobile Plat Form to access areas.
Ideally with Abrasive Wheels, First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Fire Watching
Any of these would be a big plus !!!!

Coded Pipe Welder - TIG, MMA,

Welding pipe work from 1 - 4 inch & 6 - 12 inch mainly.
Using a variety of weld procedures such as
TIG only on Carbon & Stainless
TIG root, hot pass, fill and cap MMA
MMA only

Welding to Coded Specs in Fabs Shops , Process Plants, Petrochem Plants,
Power Stations.
Ideally with current Weld Certs, or proof of codings etc.
Plus other quals and safety cards/certs as below.

Coded Pipe Welder - MMA, MIG FCAW

Welding pipe work from 2 - 4 inch & 6 - 18 inch mainly.
Using a variety of weld procedures such as

MMA only
MMA root, fill and cap MIG FCAW
Welding to Coded Specs in Fabs Shops , Process Plants, Petrochem Plants,
Power Stations.
Ideally able to weld using TIG & MIG, MAG as well to good specs.
Ideally with current Weld Certs, or proof of codings etc.
Plus other quals and safety cards/certs as below.
