Operations Manager – Fire Servicing and Repair
Flexible – National role
£47,148 per annum (rising to £49,629 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance) - Plus company car or car allowance
40 hours per week
Sanctuary Group are investing in our tenant safety, and mobilising an internal team to manage servicing, repair, and installation activities associated with fire safety. This is an exciting activity for the Group, and we are seeking an experienced fire safety professional to lead this mobilisation and continue to lead the ongoing development and management of our fire servicing, repair and installation activities. This is a new role, and an opportunity to make your mark on this new area of service for Sanctuary Group.
The Operations Manager – Fire Servicing and Repair, will sit within the Sanctuary Maintenance and Reinvestment division which is responsible for delivering high quality and cost effective property repairs, gas servicing and installation, estate services and reinvestment programmes across the UK, predominantly to internal clients but also a small number of external clients.
Reporting to the Operations Director – Maintenance and Reinvestment, you will ensure fire safety and compliance across all our properties and sites nationally. Through the provision of effective management of all related functions you will promote a safe working, high performance and equality & diversity focused environment.
Driving our continued success, enabling the business to meet its strategic targets while also implementing changes that will have a positive impact for our customers requires someone with recent experience in undertaking a similar role. We are seeking substantial experience and proven achievements working in a commercially focused maintenance or contracting role, managing multi site maintenance contracts, and comprehensive knowledge of fire regulations, legislation and current, good practice.
Your experience gained within this field is of great interest to us as are your impressive communication skills, results in service delivery, delivering services within budget and proven experience in the mobilisation of new regional teams and services. Due to the national scope of the role you will need a full driving license and have a flexible approach as there will be some weekend and evening work required.
