Finance Manager, Tamworth

£30,000 - £40,000 – part-time hours

The Company

Seymour John are working exclusively to recruit a permanent part-time Finance Manager for a growing company based in Tamworth. The company is an expanding Telecommunications company, which is an innovative provider of cloud based solutions encompassing voice, mobility, data and applications.There is an opportunity in this role to join at an early stage and experience and contribute to what will be an exciting journey.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic finance professional with management accounting experience. The company is looking for a highly capable and ambitious individual who has the potential to develop.

The Role

The role is very much about financial management of the day to day financial matters which in a SME are wide ranging. This would include areas such as insurance, project cost control, management of payroll, banking, VAT, reporting, management accounts, and dealing with the Companies External Accountants. There is also an expectation at this stage that the role should also encompass purchasing and other commercial matters as required on a hands-on basis. The role will naturally develop as the business grows.

In addition, other duties to support the sales and operations team will include document control, providing various management and cost reports.

Skills & Experience:

·Qualified or with aspirations to be qualified in the near future.

·Have at least two years’ experience in a finance manager role

·Experience on Sage is highly desirable

·A desire to work and gain business wide experience more rather than just finance and accounting is desirable

·Most importantly you must have a positive can-do attitude, be self-motivated and willing to be involved in whatever needs doing

·High level of competence with Excel

·Ability to work productively within a small team, flexibility and good communication skills,

·Initiative and drive to take on tasks with minimal supervision

·Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and potential to develop capabilities to grow with the organisation.
