Berry Recruitment are looking to source a Sous Chef for a well-established restaurant & bar in the Stoke on Trent area, with a great reputation. The ideal Sous Chef will have been a Junior Sous or Sous Chef previously in a fresh food environment.

About the person;

• Experience working with fresh food & locally sourced ingredients
• A passionate chef with proven background in staff and kitchen management
• Experience with EHO and food hygiene
• Able to work alongside the Head Chef assist with chef training.
• Able to take instruction from the Head Chef
• Able to deputise in Head Chefs absence
• GP and wastage management in Head chefs absence

Skills required and duties;

• Excellent initiative
• Real passion for fresh food
• Driven by high standards and attention to detail
• Eager to introduce new ideas

The ideal candidate will be eager to push the business to the next level with food service. The restaurant is looking to develop and move forward and this role will be key to the success of the venue.
