Role: Sales Manager

Location: Warwickshire (based from home with a heavy element of field-sales and regular trips to the London head office)

Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 basic salary pa DOE (Genuine OTE: GBP75,000pa+), plus laptop, tablet, phone etc.

Our client is an international company with developed markets in Europe, North America and South Africa. They are an innovative software company which specialises in providing market-leading software products (Apps) used by a variety of professionals in the property management, construction and surveying industries to accurately record and store reports (in the cloud) on the condition of properties, buildings and land.

As part of an impressive and continuing growth plan in the UK, they are looking to acquire the services of a talented and experienced Sales Manager to help promote and sell their products within the property management, construction and surveying sectors to key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Software sales from your virtual location within the UK, you will be active in the property management, construction and surveying market to identify sales prospects.
* You will work with individuals across the prospect organisation to understand their business objectives.
* You will build strong prospect relationships and sell our client's value proposition and you will advance opportunities through the sales cycle to a successful sale.
* You will be active in industry associations, represent the company at industry events, and establish strategic relationships.
* You will serve as the voice-of-the-market back to the team.
* Develop a strong pipeline and close new business opportunities.
* Build strong commercial relationships at the C-level and Director-level in prospect organisations
* Identify business needs and sell the company's value propositions.
* Appropriately persistent in pursuing leads through the sales journey.
* Ability and ambition to meet/ exceed monthly targets
* Respond to client enquiries and assist clients in addressing needs
* Work closely with senior management to facilitate continued, long-term UK growth

Required Skills and experience:

* A minimum of 5 years successful and consistent B2B sales experience within the property management, construction or surveying sectors.
* A proven track record of penetrating target clients at the most senior levels and across multiple sectors.
* The ability to 'land & expand' - to grow and nurture relationships and turn these relationships into stable and long-term revenue streams for the business.
* You must be able to demonstrate an historical ability to network successfully amongst industry peers and potential customers. You will feel totally comfortable at trade shows and industry events and you will know how to promote and raise the profile of an international brand and its products.
* You must understand the value that cutting-edge software brings to companies of all shapes and sizes. You should be tech-savvy but you do not need to understand software programming.
* The software products you will be selling are Apps that run on Android and IOS devices. They are deliberately user-friendly and easy to demonstrate to the end-users who are not necessarily technically-minded.
* You must be professional, dynamic, creative, adaptable, driven and have a passion to lead from the front.
* You must be mature and trustworthy. Reporting lines will be directly to the United States (West Coast) and you will need to be self-managing and able to work with minimal direct supervision.
