Volunteering Recruitment Coordinator
ABOUT US Volunteering reaches into every corner of our work at the Woodland Trust. As a member of the National Volunteering Team your role will be vital to supporting the delivery of the Volunteering Strategy and adherence to the Volunteering Framework. Effective volunteer recruitment is at the heart of this role ensuring an excellent start to the volunteer journey. THE ROLE Reporting to the Volunteering Journey Officer this role will help grow our volunteering base. A large part of this role is the volunteer recruitment. Including the writing of Volunteer task outlines and engaging volunteer adverts. The role will also ensure the overall quality of the recruitment of volunteers and work closely with the wider Volunteering team. THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, be extremely organised, comfortable working collaboratively and delivering results at a fast pace and high volume. It would be an advantage, but not essential, for the chosen candidate to have experience working with volunteers or possess an understanding of volunteering from an operational perspective at the Trust.
