Event Operations Administrator

Part-Time/Flexible Hours: 25 to 30 hours per week

Based in Shrewsbury, we are responsible for the organisation of a number of national exhibitions and require an office-based administrator to join our small but expanding team.

The position requires an articulate, enthusiastic, hard working team player, who will have some office experience. You will also need to be flexible – this is not a 9 to 5 industry! – and whilst not a pre-requisite for the job, the ability to work away for some events will be an advantage.

Day to day responsibilities will involve working on all aspects of the shows supporting our existing event staff including handling enquiries on the telephone, by email and by post, updating databases and chasing up event documentation.  Whilst the emphasis is on logistical and operational administration you may also be required to undertake some sales and general office administration tasks.
