Our prestigious client based in the Leek area has a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. Working in a warm and friendly environment and offering full study support should the successful candidate wish to undertake/continue their AAT qualification.

Job Description:

As an Accounts Assistant you will be reporting to the Management Accountant and you will be responsible for the following duties:-

* Allocating payments to customer's accounts using Microsoft AX system
* Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
* Accurate posting of company credit card expenses each month
* Processing and payment of expenses
* Purchase ledger duties including posting purchase invoices, twice monthly payment runs and reconciling supplier statements

It would be good to see candidates with:

* Previous experience in a similar accounts role
* Highly effective communicator
* Proficient in Microsoft AX Accounting system or similar
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Windows
* A can-do attitude
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple priorities
* Ability to problem solve
* Resourceful and adaptable

This role would suit people who also have the following experience: Finance Administrator, Accounts Administrator, Accounts Clerk, Finance Clerk.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm
