Trainee level opportunity for a flexible candidate, with an interest in Engineering, living locally to Bridgnorth to become a Fitter/CNC Operator. This role is offered initially at Minimum Wage.
The Role of Trainee Fitter / CNC Operative
A unique dual role for a trainee Fitter / Assembly and CNC Operator
Offered at minimum wage as our client wishes to provide training for a candidate with the right background and skill-set.
Current priority is Fitting and Assembly but there will also be a requirement to learn and work as a CNC Operative
The mix of work between Fitting and CNC Operation will be totally dependent on the needs of the business
To work as a Fitter to assemble Pumps and Pumping Systems
To Operate CNC machinery to manufacture components for Pumps and Pumping Systems
The ideal candidate for the role of Trainee Fitter and CNC Operative
Will have a general interest in Engineering / putting things together and seeing them work
Will be dexterous and good with their hands, happy to get their hands dirty
Will ideally have a background in Fitting or Assembly environment although not essential
Could possibly have a background in Carpentry, Joinery, Bench-work, Mechanics
Will live within 30 minutes journey of Bridgnorth
Will be reliable, Flexible and keen to learn
