We are seeking a high performing National Sales Manager with a minimum of 10+ year's retail/B2C experience to help us meet our growth targets by keeping our brand competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximising our sales potential utilising our Multi-Branch Sales Departments across the country and by devising sales plans to present to the Owners and Directors. You will have proven successful experience of constantly meeting or exceeding targets.

You will be responsible for the day to day Management and Leadership of 7 Sales Team, office based, and the Leads Enquiries Team. You will strive and push forward the various forms of selling such as Telephone, Face-To-Face, Social Media and Live Chat and look at ways to improve and grow these areas. It is essential that the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the Sales Teams with the ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the sales to exceed the target
• Objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring
• Proven management and leadership skills to oversee and grow the ability of c.48 employees inclusive of National Sales Trainers, Sales Team Managers, Sales Team Members and Leads Enquiries Team
• Ensure that there is continuous monitoring and mentoring of the Sales Management Team to enable them to nurture and support the Sales Teams to achieve their full potential and targets constantly
• Utilising your strong business awareness to enable you to identify opportunities and weaknesses in specific product areas and make recommendations to take advantage or improve the product areas
• Implement SMART Targets and apply the principles when setting targets
• Monitor results vs targets and make agreed action plans with the relevant personnel to improve results when necessary
• Monitor sales pipeline and activity levels
• Provide in-depth Sales Reporting
• Ensure effective resource planning is carried out
• Identify, review, plan and oversee/deliver training
• Devise and Implement the Induction and Training program for new Sales Team Members
• Conduct regular Sales Meetings and make regular branch visits
• Utilise management tools such as SWOT analysis to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of the Sales Department
• Identifying all competitors and their activities such as Sales and Promotions and new products and devise plans to oust the competition
• Create contingency plans to ensure continuation of Sales in the event of emergency situations such as temporary shutdown of a branch; holidays; sickness; lieu days
• Checking compliance of rules and processes
• Motivation of Sales Team Managers and Members by leading by example
• Ensuring regular contact with Sales Teams is maintained, including Sales Advisors and Trainee Sales Advisors, particularly new starters
• Identify any sales obstacles and resolve to the benefit of the Company
• Ability to build strong working relationships with all employees and managers as necessary
• Carry out all other requests from management on an adhoc or regular basis as required

This position is 40 hours per week between the hours of 8.30 - 20.00, 5 out of 7 days a week. We are a retail environment open 7 days per week excluding Christmas day and Easter Sunday and weekend working is expected to ensure that targets are met.
