Logistics Manager (E-Commerce)
I am delighted to be assisting this leading global retailer in their search for a Logistics Manager within their E-Commerce department, they are building a new team of talented individuals to join an already high performing culture.
The successful Logistics Manager (E-Commerce) will work within the business operations side of the business, you will be responsible for driving the performance of their 3rd party logistics provider. You will be expected to train and develop the Logistics Assistants that report to you as part of your team, you will work closely with your 3PL provider ensure the highest level of service is maintained. Responsibilities include warehouse design and operating procedures, picking & packing operations, it is important that you keep abreast of developments to identify cost saving opportunities and develop operational plans that can be implemented into the Supply Chain process.You will work with both warehouse and distribution section managers onsite to communicate and assist in implementing cost saving opportunities where required.
To be considered for this Logistics Manager (E-Commerce) role you will need to demonstrate previous experience managing the performance of 3rd party carriage providers and 3PLs, implementing CI processes to the whole Supply Chain process onsite. You will be highly organised, with strong analytical skills and a high degree of commercial acumen, degree level qualification is essential. - Basic Salary starting Yr.1 £51,760
- Rising to Basic Salary Yr.4 £75,360
