My client is seeking a highly motivated, talented, hardworking individual structural engineer, with the desire to improve, and develop within this company. They are seeking for the following:
Role: Graduate Structural Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
-As part of the role, you will take part in personal development tasks, and courses, as required by the business, ensuring all tasks are performed to a high standard.
-Work your way to gaining a Chartered Status, and ICE Membership.
-Expected to be able to produce drawings and designs for various company products, whilst ensuring you have the ability to justify any design with appropriate calculations.
-Providing support to designers, through preparing appropriate proposal documents and quotations, as well as being able to supply structural schemes, when desired.
-To be able to understand structural engineers and architects designs
-To have the ability and confidence to attend meetings without support and to speak in regards to technical issues and promote the company.
-Expected to be able to discuss technical issues in meetings without support, whilst promoting the company.
-Ensuring a smart and professional appearance at all times.
-Must have an understanding of building physics, to ensure they are capable of having technical conversations with Engineers, Contractors, approved installers, and Architects on technical issues and designs.
-To be able to confidently use various software`s relevant to the role including AutoCAD
-Must be able to take charge of their work requirements through hitting deadlines, and managing your time and work load in an effective manner. Have the ability to take responsibility in communicating any issues in deadlines to your manager.
-The want and need to be a team player through attending various social events and attending training sessions outside of work hours, which in turn means developing strong working relations with your colleagues
-Being able to assist with technical support for company products.
-Ability to maintain client relations and develop customer relations.

Experience and Skills
-Degree qualification in either Civil, Structural, or Mechanical engineering
-Show an understanding of engineering judgement, sound judgement and to be able to showcase problem solving skills.
-Experience of working on light gauged steel frame, off-site prefabricated structures, and load-bearing structures
-Experience of working as part of a team, and the capability to take on an additional workload.
-Deliver administration records up to date and on time

Your Package:
-Basic salary up to £30,000
-24 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays
