Sales Director –Midlands.

My client are a market leading, are a highly successful private equity backed brand, in the HVAC sector.
As Sales Director you will need to be new business focused with an appetite to drive the sales team, putting in place targets and metrics to measure performance and keep a tight rein over the sales pipeline across the 3 business units. As part of this role you will be a mixture of both field and office based, working between the businesses two Midlands sites.
You will operate in the initial stages with a view of fully integrating the 3 divisions in order for them to continue to offer a wide range of UK manufactured HVAC products through the domestic, commercial and industrial markets. Within the 3 business units, 2 are profitable 1 is on a downward trajectory, the aim of this role is halt decline and re-energise each business unit to ensure growth.
The MD believes in creating a culture of empowerment within the organisation and there is huge scope for someone to really make the role their own, this a blank sheet of paper for someone to make their mark.
• Identify gaps in the sales teams and appoint to them as necessary to facilitate team development and business growth
• Constantly monitor market trading conditions and customer specific strategic and operational factors to ensure that current, reliable market intelligence is procured upon which sound business judgements can be based
• Meet sales targets and achieve KPIs.
You will have worked as a Sales Manager, Field Sales Manager, District Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Territory Sales Manager, Sales Director or similar.
