We are currently recruiting for and Accounts Assistant for 9 Months Maternity cover for our clients based in Lye.
The Accounts Assistant will part of a small team with the finance department and will be reporting to the finance manager.
- Supplier payments
- Weekly and bi-weekly runs
- Petty Cash
- Paypal reconcilliation
- Ordering currency
- Update cashbooks daily
- Posting journals when required
- Daily and monthly reporting to the Directors/Chairman
- Multicurrency Bank rec
- Sales Ledger Control rec - including daily input of sales online
- Company credit card analysis
- UK/USA Stock month end reports
- Cheque banking to branch
- Purchase ledger intrastat
- Adhoc sales ledger invoices
- Scanning documents
- Any other associated duties to cover other team members
- Qualified in AAT (or equivalent)
- Effectively handle priorities and manage multiple tasks
- High levels of attention to detail
- IT skills
- Advanced excel knowledge
- 2 or more years experience in accounts/finance
- Effective communication skills
This role is a 9 month maternity cover role.
The salary will be between 17,000 - 19,000 dependent upon experience.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 3:30pm.
