We are currently recruiting for and Accounts Assistant for 9 Months Maternity cover for our clients based in Lye.

The Accounts Assistant will part of a small team with the finance department and will be reporting to the finance manager.


  • Supplier payments
  • Weekly and bi-weekly runs
  • Petty Cash
  • Cashflow
  • Paypal reconcilliation
  • Ordering currency
  • Update cashbooks daily
  • Posting journals when required
  • Daily and monthly reporting to the Directors/Chairman
  • Multicurrency Bank rec
  • Sales Ledger Control rec - including daily input of sales online
  • Company credit card analysis
  • UK/USA Stock month end reports
  • Banking
  • Cheque banking to branch
  • Purchase ledger intrastat
  • Adhoc sales ledger invoices
  • Scanning documents
  • Any other associated duties to cover other team members


  • Qualified in AAT (or equivalent)
  • Effectively handle priorities and manage multiple tasks
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • IT skills
  • Advanced excel knowledge
  • 2 or more years experience in accounts/finance
  • Effective communication skills

This role is a 9 month maternity cover role.

The salary will be between 17,000 - 19,000 dependent upon experience.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 3:30pm.
