Excellent opportunity for a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a well established practice based in Walsall, West Midlands. The practice have enjoyed a period of sustainable growth, making key acquisitions at a senior level. As a result of this, they are now in a position to take on ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistants, looking to further their career.

As one of the longest standing Architectural practices in the Midlands region, the company has developed a stellar reputation and an enviable client portfolio. Sectors worked within are varied, and include projects in areas such as; Commercial, Residential, Conservation, Ecclesiastical, Industrial and Leisure schemes. As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant you won't be 'pigeon-holed' in to a particular department, meaning you will be exposed to a wide spectrum of project types and differing RIBA stages.

The practice provide ongoing support and means for development to all members of staff. Part 2 Architectural Assistants in particular are supported in their journey to becoming fully qualified Architects, providing the work necessary to complete their Part 3 qualification. Revit software is also used throughout the office, with several projects being worked on at BIM Level 2. This gives you an excellent chance to develop your BIM knowledge, which puts you in good stead going forward.

Responsibilities of the Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

??To prepare, develop and edit, under the guidance of the project leader or Architect, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design.
??To develop representations of design options for further discussion by the design team.
??Generate presentation renders and visuals using Photoshop
??Prepare and compile copy for proposals and presentations as required.

Requirements of the Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

??Degree qualified to RIBA Part 2 level.
??AutoCAD proficiency, with the added benefit of Revit (not essential).
??Eagerness to progress through to your Part 3.

In return you will be offered a salary in the region of GBP22,000-GBP27,000 per annum, dependant on current experience level, alongside a competitive benefits package.
