Salary GBP30,000


To carry out reactive and pre planned maintenance works to ensure permanent fix of issues, across the site in relation to electrical & mechanical systems.

Comply with statutory, Company and regulatory H&S rules and regulations
Ensure correct PPE is worn / used when required in accordance with Company requirements
Operate in a safe manner ensuring environment is suitable for self and others at all times
Ensure all required H&S paperwork is signed and completed in accordance with job requirements
Liaise with the H&S Manager on matters as required.
Escalate issues which cannot be resolved locally, to next in line and H&S Manager.
Attend all toolbox talks, as required by the H&S Manager.
Proactively identify & report near miss hazards

Job Tasks

Assist with maintenance procedures for electrical/ mechanical systems to ensure maximum service life and utilisation.
Assist in the logging and confirmation that systems are working and available to meet the needs of our customers.
Assist and respond to requests for changes in existing systems / equipment's to modify / enhance the system / equipment to obtain desired results in a safe and cost effective manner.
Assist in providing requested maintenance services while meeting safety codes and speciation.
Troubleshoot & carry out diagnostic and fault finding of plant and equipment as required and advise regional operation manager of the repairs required.
Maintain a high level of workmanship ensuring all areas where work has been carried out are left clean and tidy.
Complete all necessary paperwork and return to relevant parties as required.
Take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as appropriate.
Ensures the Company is promoted in a professional manner at all times, maintaining an appropriate attitude and appearance in front of the Customer.

Develop and maintain key departmental & interdepartmental relationships
Assist with work in other departments as and when required.
Undertake all other duties identified by the supervisors to ensure the professional and smooth running of the Department at all times.
Self Maintain and develop own skills and experience as required.
Undertake training as required to obtain new skills and techniques to support continuous improvement & development of the department and job role
Take ownership and aim to constantly exceed identified objectives.
Display appropriate standards of behaviour, and uphold ethics, values & promotion of equal opportunities
