International Advisor & Researcher
Very well established, dynamic, friendly and forward thinking.
The International Advisor and researcher is a key role and you will play a major part in the development and offering of International Services. The role will be based within an established team dedicated to delivering international advice to a growing client base; from providing basic country specific guidance, coordinating data management, fully outsourced regulatory environmental compliance and account management.
The role will involve undertaking research into international legislation, contacting foreign schemes in order to understand compliance requirements and to confirm obligations where necessary. There will be the opportunity to advise and promote the services to both existing clients and new clients. As a client-facing role, there will be significant contact with them regarding all aspects of their international obligations, as well as working with teams from other departments to utilise their skills in technical support, data collection and analysis.
This is an ideal position for someone with or studying languages (German, Spanish or French or Mandarin/Chinese) or even someone who has a language at A level and is keen to use and enhance it. This job is just right for someone keen to get into an organisation where they can learn and develop and where there are excellent prospects for advancement.
You will ideally be degree educated and you will be competent in at least one European language, but neither is essential for the right person with a good academic background. You will be confident and outgoing with excellent communications skills and ideally some business to business commercial experience, preferably in a customer services environment and if this included writing reports this would be advantageous.
You will have a thorough approach to your work (some research is required) and have excellent attention to detail. You will be able to multitask, prioritise and manage your own workload, whilst working well under pressure and to deadlines. You will be positive, proactive and enthusiastic and be entirely comfortable dealing with external organisations which sometimes may involve dealing through interpreters if your linguistic knowledge isn't appropriate in that particular instance.
You will be happy leading external meetings, have good problem-solving skills and be happy to work within a team. You will have a driving licence and some travel both in the UK and possibly overseas will be required.
The salary is up to GBP20,000 per annum plus up to 10% corporate bonus and there are excellent holidays and benefits.
