Job Objectives
My client are Europe's leading manufacturer of original accessories, small series parts and systemfor the automotive world. They are looking for a Paint Mix Room Technician to utilise paint parameters in accordance with internal and customer specifications. Develop continuous improvements and solutions for paint mixing in accordance with project and plant requirements and to ensure development of specific goals and plans to accomplish work in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Assignments (Main Working Areas)
• The setup of paint equipment in the paint kitchen for all paint applications in accordance with internal standards and best practise
• Responsibility for the top up and maintenance of any paint mix equipment as well as keeping the mix room, paint guns and other equipment clean to ensure longevity
• The development of new products, commissioning of pumps and piggable system and the support for control plan updates
• Assessing current technology for effectiveness and compare to any new technology within the industry

Paint Mix Room Technician
Responsibilities / Duties
• Mixing paint, both solvent and water based, to the required formula
• Discarding left over paints, thinners and solvents in accordance to the required standard
• Maintaining paint delivery at peak efficiency
• Maintenance of paint delivery systems
• Monitor and optimise paint waste during any colour change
• Assisting Paint Process Technician as required
• Review robot operations in a structured manner (LPA/PDCA/CCAR)
• Collate and monitor paint line yield and environmental KPI's, trends and SPC charts to present to the wider team
• Report all accidents, potential near miss/risk situations and defective equipment using the agreed procedure and wear issued PPE without fail

• Present a professional imagine when communicating internally and externally
• Drive and support the requirements to uphold accreditations including IATF16949 and ISO14001

• Professional Qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years
• Automotive development experience
• Good level of PC skills Robotic colour control and paint lines
• Piggable delivery system
