Our high profile client in the automotive industry is currently looking to recruit a Project Assistant to work at their busy site in Whitley, Coventry.

Position Description: The Companies UK National Sales Company is looking for a Project Coordinator to support the Customer Services business lead in delivering major Customer Services strategy project by mid 2018. The successful candidate will provide general support and assistance on the project the areas of governance requirements, reporting, assurance processes, project management processes, general communications to support the delivery of the project.

Additional responsibilities include: · Assist colleagues with the preparation of key milestones and support the roll-out of improvement initiatives · Work on the reporting of key programme metrics as defined by the area · Completing all project reports to support the business lead in reporting out project status to directors · Utilise standardised project management tools to support a smooth project delivery · Support the identification of opportunities to improve processes and ways of working on programmes across the area and define best practices · Collaborate with Project Specialists to share best practice and process improvements to ensure efficiency of project management tools · Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

Skills Required: 1) Experience in supporting and coordinating projects, utilising fundamental project management practises 2) Automotive and/or Customer Services 3) Competence using project management software Microsoft Project

Experience Required: Experienced project coordinator/administrator - Knowledge and Experience of project management processes and methodology - Ability to work under tight timescales and guide the business according to any project plan - Proactively initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships, with both internal teams and with partner agencies - Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members - Ability to problem solve under pressure and during time sensitive projects
