Spring Technology is currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Project Manager to be based with a growing national organisation in Birmingham, for an initial 3 month contract. Our client is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to pick up specific work streams within a greenfield data centre programme, with a goal to migrate applications from the legacy site over to new virtual environments using the latest technology.

This will be initially for 3 months, with potential to extend, and will be paying £400 to £450 per day.

Our client is currently deep within the migration stage of a data centre move from an existing site due to be decommissioned, to two greenfield sites in the UK. They are looking for a Project Manager to pick up on work streams within the programme, operating within a highly regulated environment. You will be working with multiple contacts across the business and third party vendors to ensure the timely delivery and overall success of the project work streams specifically around the application migration and decommission. The total budget for this programme is in excess of £10 million, coordinating multiple teams within the business as well as external specialists to complete the data centre moves.

Essential Skills:
* Must have delivered infrastructure or data centre based projects successfully in the past, with a strong emphasis on application migration to virtual servers
* Managing large budgets between £10-15 million
* Excellent communication with stakeholders and third party suppliers, who will be essential in the successful delivery of the project
* Knowledge of Networks / WAN / LAN based projects and virtual environments
* Project Management qualification such as Prince 2 / MSP
