Supervising Social Worker
A growing and genuinely ‘family feel’ IFA are looking for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their friendly and supportive team, based in the West Midlands.
As a recently registered IFA, they have a small number of carers, as well as a number of prospective carers already at assessment stage, hence you will be responsible for Form F assessments, supporting them through to panel and the subsequent matching process and their ongoing support and supervision. Carers are based across the West Midlands region, hence travel will be required.
There is the opportunity for some home working, around team meetings etc.
You will be / have:
- A qualified social worker
- HCPC registered
- Prior experience of working within a fostering team, gained either within an IFA or Local Authority
- Form F assessment experience is ideal
- A car owner /driver
- Prepared to travel across the region
This role offers an exciting career opportunity to join a growing IFA, with the support of a passionate and highly experienced Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and career as the role and service grows.
A recent graduate with a fostering placement will also be considered, as full support will be given, experience dependent.
Salary is from £28,000 to £35,0000 (experience dependent) + company car / car allowance + pension scheme and other benefits
